garden spots

I think my love of fabric evolved from gardening and decorating. I love to share my garden and yard. I guess that's why Amy Butler's flower prints appeal to me. The last picture is the door to my herb garden. I have planted the man(Burger King man according to my brother in law) maybe he will look better with more plants.

My version of angelina fibers

I made this mask for a presentation at the Kalamazoo Sewing Guild . I had a riot. The fibers only bond to themselves using a press cloth and a warm iron. I bonded them in thin layers then glued them to a timtex shape. Of course, embellished with crystals and thread. I probably won't be going to New Orleans anytime soon, but I will be ready when I do!

Doesn't this remind you of candy?

We really like how this fabric feels. Lucky me ..... Sally had the bookcases made and the fabric organized 2 days after the fabric arrived. I really do like how it looks! Its afforable and a good basic fabric.
